SAT JUNE 11: WEAVERVILLE - POWER SYMBOLS WORKSHOP at LaBerteaux's Studio above Highland Art Center 9am-5pm. There will be a lot of self exploration at this workshop. Discover and create your own personal power symbol through hands-on activities designed to increase your self awareness. Students will begin by creating their own Maori Medicine Drawing as a diagnostic tool. They will then venture further to observe many universal and ancient symbols in nature and various cultures. Students will take a personal color test and learn about using the properties and power of individual colors in their personal life. Finally a guided meditation will steer them to design their own personal power symbol using the intuitive colors that they have chosen. Bring a lunch! Refreshments will be served. Instructors are artist and metaphysical practitioner SuZan La Berteaux and Barbara Edwards, an artist specializing in color theory. The cost is $40/TAHA members or $50/non-members.
