Originally from the south shore of Massachusetts, Kate started practicing yoga at age 20 to cope with her anxiety. She fell in love with power and vinyasa classes. Moving the body with the breath helped clear her mind. She was certified through a 200-hr yoga teacher training in 2005 at The Finding Inner Peace Yoga School with Michelle Fleming and Jennifer Yarrow. In 2011, she completed her Level II Thai Yoga Massage training with Jennifer Yarrow at the New England School of Thai Yoga. Her intentions are to show students how to strengthen the body and remove physical blockages with emphasis on core, balance, physical alignment, and deep stretching. She brings a playful attitude and warm smile to each class.
